Sorry this didn't get published last week. It was a week of learning, yet again, that life is what happens when you're making other plans.

Another beautiful anthem by First Church's amazing choir.

We continue our sermon series on The Lord's Prayer with "Kingdom Come."

The First Church choir was in beautiful form again today.

Dan's offertory was absolutely spectacular.

We begin our new sermon series on "The Greatest Prayer - The Lord's Prayer" this week.

The choir had us tapping our toes with this arrangement of "The Friendly Beasts."

We had a hauntingly beautiful offertory on Sunday, shared with us by Andrew Miller.  Wonderful!

An unusual and hauntingly beautiful arrangement of a Christmas season favorite.

We begin our Advent journey sermon series, "The Time is Coming," with the message, "A Time to Watch."

Coming to our aid at the last minute, Tim shared a beautiful song that kept us prayerful during our time of communion.

Hope is a recurring theme throughout the Bible and today's texts remind us of that place we always have to lean when we are at our lowest point - in the arms of our loving God.

Today's sermon included communion and during the sharing of the elements, you will hear Tim Herrick's beautiful music of "Written in Red". (I will post this separately as well, for your enjoyment.)  Doug Champion's guitar leads us from this time of worship back into the world.

Andy, Whitney and Doug gave us a really gentle introduction to worship with their trio's beautiful "All in All".  We are very blessed with some of the finest musicians around.

What a treat this week for Doug to share his gift of music.  His guitar has graced our services more than once and should more often.

After weeks of hearing rehearsals, we were blessed with this epic anthem on Sunday.  WOW!
